Patient Requirements

For Fortis Memorial to be able to ascertain your suitability for any medical or surgical procedure, International Surgery requires the following:

  • A description of your ailment
  • Your medical records
  • Your GP notes
  • Preferably any specialist records
  • A recent blood test
  • Your personal details

Upon receipt of this information, International Surgery will work with Fortis Memorial who will make an initial assessment of your suitability for surgery, taking into account the extent of your medical or surgical requirements, and your suitability to travel to India. If the initial information is positive they will provide an indication of costs.

You will then be required to meet with a member of International Surgery who will arrange a Telemedicene conference between you, the Fortis Surgeon and International Surgery, whereby the Surgeon will ask any relevant questions relating to your health, symptoms and your pain levels.

If you meet all the requirements, then International Surgery will take over.

  • We will organise the most suitable time for you to travel
  • Arrange your accommodation
  • Organise your documentation
  • Provide you with an all-inclusive quote.
